Football Association of Odisha (FAO )was formed in 1949 and was made into an independent registered body in 1961. However, the organisation was renamed as Football Association of Odisha in the year 2010
The Football Association of Odisha is affiliated to the All India Football Federation & Odisha Olympic Association. It is the apex governing body for the game of football in the state of Odisha.
